To start this blog off I have posted a few images that I am looking at putting in my portfolio for a class at school. Portfolio's are new to me, as I have never put one together before, and have agonized over what to put into it. All but one of these photo's were taken before I started school this last fall (Sept 09). As I look back, I can see that most of them are 'happy accidents', taken before I knew what apertures(f-stops), shutterspeeds, depth of field and rules of thirds were all about. They are still some of my favorites. Hope you all enjoy them!
My name is Tricia Lowe. After a lot of thought about what I want to be when I grow up I decided to be a Photographer. I am in my fifth quarter up at Spokane Falls Community College in their photography program. I capture images of all kinds but I love to capture Natural Still Life. Things I find in nature or as the moment is happening. You will find many things on this blog. Some come from school assignments and some come from my daily life. If there is one thing I have learned, it is to keep my camera on me at all times. You never know when something will capture your interest. I hope you enjoy my work.
