Around Spokane

Scott and I took the three younger ones on a beautiful drive around Spokane. We found a park that was all rock and the kids had a blast climbing and exploring. We also found the coolest building out by Felts Field-Spokane's original airport. I couldn't help but stop and capture the kids up againist the red brick

Arbor Crest Winery, Spokane

My friend Shirleen and I were able to get away from our kids and capture photos of anything that caught our eyes. We went up top of the Cliff to Arbor Crest Winery. It has a few things starting to bloom, a beautiful arbor, a full size checker board set, and beautiful buildings made of stone. I had a great time be out in the sun and not having to shoot for school. In another month or so we hope to go back and capture the vines in bloom. You can learn more about this beautiful place at www.arborcrest.com

Illustrative Portrait

Once again for our final project, different class, for Design was to create a Illustrative Portrait. What a great opportunity to capture Tegwyns and My favorite pasttime-Reading! Tegwyn sat for 3 different shoots this day, so it wasn't hard to get her to sit and just read.

Portraits of Tegwyn

For my Studio class, our last assignment was to take a Portrait of someone outside of class. I choose beautiful Tegwyn. It is unusual for Tegwyn to let anyone take photos of her let alone to be posed by someone. I had a fun time getting to know my daughter a bit better. I now know that she thinks guys are still Morons, that she really likes her acting class at school and she still loves to read anything she can get her hands on. Thanks Tegwyn for being a great model!

Photoshoot at school studio

Our last two assignments were to photograph people. Having a few kids, I offered their services as models (which they were all excited to do). Today I took Aiden, Morgan, Cate and Tegwyn in for others to use as their talent. These first couple are a self portrait I did as part of my Photo Design assignment. The others are a few I captured as the day went along. They all are naturals in front of the camera, posing without thought. Cate stayed after we were done to model for someone whose talent did not show. She made an impression on a bystander, who asked to have her model for him. Look out world-here comes the next top model! More pics of the other kids to come....
