The 7th grade girls softball season started off with a bang. Our team won their first five games. The excitement of the girls was contagious. At one home game the football team marched off the practice field chanting 'Bowdish Softball No. 1'. The girls were really good at cheering their teammates on and letting each other know where the play was at. Sliding into home was a challenge for some of these girls, falling and getting dirty on purpose did not come easy for them. Our girls had grandparents, parents, siblings and friends cheering them on. In the end we lost the last 3 games, our enthusiam was down but bounced back for the last game, making it the best for most of the girls. Go Rockets!
